    programs

My mom has a Janome 9000 and I need to know which files I need to use in her machine.  It uses an embrodiery card but we do have the scanner to transfer from a disc in computer to a card for the machine.

I would Google Janome and go to their site.  That should tell you.

I am not sure that I understand how to 'scan' to transfer something.  Files from the Internet should be downloaded to your PC and loaded to your card for use in your machine.

And, BTW, it is a good idea to use the 'tags' to identify your post.  It is easier for others to find and therefore help you.

Hello and welcome to the ATG site! I too have a Janome and the files yours will need is .jef files. as mine takes them as well. The card works great by the way but you need to know that you can only get 100 designs on the card because that is all the machine is able to hold. Once you get the hang of downloading the files ,it's a breeze!  Remember though that if you download the free designs here on the site that they only come in .pes format and will need to be converted to .jef. You can do that by either using Ann's software, Catalog Express or the free version called pulse ambassador.

I hope this helps you out a bit and if I can be of further assistance to you ,please feel free to let me know!  Yes

Are you talking about a Magic Box, Elite Box or something like that?  That is where you put the card and then download either from the computer or from the disc.  You can do either but what box are you using.  The files must be in the SEW format to work on the 9000.  That was my first machine so I know you have to use SEW.
