It is my understanding that the Disney cards can only be used on the Brother Disney machines.

    Whackymom,

First what format is your Babylock?? Chances are it may not work on this machine, I have heard the same thing Roseanne, not sure if it is true or not, but seems like it would be or they wouldn't have the Disney machine? Maybe I am wrong on this, and hope Ann will chime in here and let us know about this. Or is it a matter of converting the format of the card??

    Hi All.

    Did the Brother.com research.

If you go to their Brother Disney Cards section, you will note:  the card is compatible only with Brother brand home embroidery machines bearing the Disney nameplate and/or Disney Home Collection.

I think where the misunderstanding came from is that both Brother and Babylock are PES format but not necessarily compatible in all respects.  Apparently Brother has the rights to Disney whereas Babylock does not.  Sorry.

As stated before, Disney cards will work only with Brother machines that end with the letter D.

Except for "Taste of Disney", which does not require a Brother "D" machine, but still will only work with a Brother machine - http://www.allbrands.com/products/abp01081-0220.html
