I have Janome Digitizer Por and Bernina Digitizer I also have the BMP6 machine. I have done a few thihgs for other

people but would like to know how to grow my home business.

I have made business cards but nothing is happening. What else can I do?

I have a BPM6 machine and I would like to start a small home business. I have done bath towels, caps, baby blankets,

and a few logs. But I can't seem to get off the ground with

anything.I have made business cards and have handed them out but nothing is happening. can you advise me?

This is so cool. I actually own a laser and was just considering trying to put some lasering on muslin for quilt blocks....I never thought about combining with embroidery! Now my gears are really turning. Thanks!

This is great information. I have a client like that as well. We have evolved into too much of a friendship as well, making issues even more difficult.

Last week she needed a larger volumn of items and asked me to lower my (already too low) prices to her. I said I was at the lowest already. She informed me a few days later she went with someone else. . . .

I am glad to be off the hook for this one, it is a good thing for my business.

I sell my embroidered quilt squares on Ebay. I have a customer who never wants the colors in the items I have listed but wants them yesterday. I finally had to tell her that when I finish the orders I have, I will get hers done. Plus she would order one item on ebay and add to it by email and then complain to ebay that I didn't get it done fast enough. I finally told her, everything I do has to go thru ebay.I still hear from her occasionally. I love doing my embroidery and collecting more designs than I can do in 3 lifetimes. This is my income and my fun.

In my opinion, Mozilla Thunderbird is far superior to Microsoft Outlook. I used Outlook when I was at work, but didn't like it as well as Thunderbird.

I do believe there are many benefits to going paperless, but when I'm looking for something and my computer dies for whatever reason, all I can think is "I wish I had my old style file cabinet with real folders and paper!

As I sit here, I cannot see any of my desktop. I had a supervisor once whose desk was 3 feet higher than the top. If you put something on his desk, you may just watch it fall to the floor!

I'm not a digitizer but I can tell the difference in some of the designs I have purchased that they are just auto fill. I hate to criticize when I can't even do auto fill. The true digitized designs have so much more depth.

I think this is what is happening with every industry "craft mans". Everyone is in a hurry with less quality in their work. Not that it isn't good, it's not the best. It's like buying a Ford instead of an Aston Martin. Unfortunately the economy isn't helping.
