Having problems downloading designs or logging in?

We have compiled a list of common reasons why you may not be able to log in or access the free designs. Please read the information below before requesting support.

Have you registered?

Recently we have added the requirement to register to download free designs in an effort to reduce improper selling of the free designs. In order to download these designs, you must first login. If you have never registered before, you can do so by clicking the following link:
Register as a New User

You only need to register once. Once you have registered, you will be directed to the design pages where you can select which designs you would like to download. Please remember your user name and password that you provided when you registered, you can use your user name and password to sign in the next time you visit Annthegran.com. If you forget your user name and password do not worry, you can have it emailed to you by clicking the link below.
I have already registered with annthegran.com but I do not remember my user name and password, please email it to me.

Are you not able to sign in?

If you have already registered and are you are unable to sign in, please make sure you are using the correct user name and password. User names and passwords are case sensitive. You can request to have your user name and password emailed to you. You can do this by clicking the link below.
Please email my user name and password to me.

After clicking the link above, you will be asked to enter your email address. Please enter your email address, the same one you used when you registered and click the Submit button. After entering your email address, you will receive an email in a few minutes with your user name and password. Remember to check to see if the email ended up in your Spam folder. If you have registered multiple times, the email will list all of your user names and passwords.

If you are still unable to sign in and you are sure the user name and password is correct, your web browser may be set to block all cookies. Cookies are small text files that Web sites place in your computer to help your browsers remember specific information. Your web browser should be set to not block session cookies that have a privacy policy. This is the normal setting for most web browsers.

Do you see the sign in screen?

The sign in screen will appear after clicking on the picture of the design you wish to download with the left mouse button. Please click with the left mouse button on the image of the design that you wish to download. Do not right click on the image or click on the name of the contributor below the image. In the past you were able to right click on the image and select Save Target As. You can no longer download the designs in this way. You must left click on the image of the design.

Are you using a download accelerator or other utility to download your designs?

You must use your web browser to download designs on annthegran.com. Download accelerators and other utilities used to manage downloads will not work properly. Please disable these programs and try downloading again.

About cookies and web browser security settings

Cookies are small text files that Web sites place in your computer to help your browsers remember specific information. Your web browser should be set to not block session cookies that have a privacy policy. This is the normal setting for most web browsers.

It is possible to set your browser to block all cookies. This can be done by you or it could be done automatically by some internet security software. Annthegran.com uses session cookies. You will not be able to sign in if all cookies are blocked. Check your browser’s privacy settings to make sure that the browser is not blocking all cookies. If you are using Internet Explorer, select Tools—Internet Options-Privacy.

You should see:

  • If your Privacy setting is set to Block all Cookies, move the slider down one notch to High. This will allow you to sign in to our site. You may also wish to check the settings in the Security tab. You should see a screen like the one below:
  • If the Security level for this zone is set to High, please move the slider down one notch to medium. If this setting is set to Custom level, click the Default level button and move the slider to Medium. Click OK when you are done making changes.
